MISTER Cagayan de Oro CEO Candy Darimbang explains that the leaked printout of scores for the 2024 candidates which reflected zero in one category for one of them was an unintended error and not the final tally.
The bases for the 40 percent of the total scores were the candidates’ character which culminated since the start of its activities from May to August.
According to organizers, the character points system is already adopted by national pageants.
Along this line, Darimbang said the organizers are demanding public apology to the individuals or entity who leaked with malice the erring document in public.
Also at the panel are Mister Cagayan de Oro 2024 Warren Villanueva, director Rey Namocatcat and consultant Sam Tan.
