Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy led local officials and City Hall’s bureaucracy in Wednesday’s (June 11) turnover of Phase 3 and 4 of the Divisoria Re-Development Site under Project Lunhaw at Plaza Divisoria.
‘Para kini sa mga katawhan sa atong syudad, diin sila makarelaks, kay kini usa ka comfort zone nga makapawala sa kalain sa gibati ug kasubo (This re-developed site is for the people of this city where they can relax and use it as a comfort zone where they can ease their anxieties and grief),’ Mayor Klarex told those in attendance.

In her message, Vice Mayor Jocelyn Rodriguez said under Mayor Klarex’s watch Rizal Park was re-developed for the second time since 1917.
For his part, Project Lunhaw coordinator Patrick Gabutina said they are committed to complete Divisoria’s re-development as a climate resiliency site that would ensure walkable, bikable, and green urban spaces in the heart of our city.
Mayor Klarex thanked everyone involved in the Project Lunhaw project since it is aligned with his administration’s vision to transform Cagayan de Oro into a greener and sustainable city for future generations of Kagay-anons. (MDS/Photos by KIM ZALDIVAR/CIO)
