KAHIMUNAN Regional Trade Fair 2025 officially opened on August 25, 2025 at Ayala Malls
Centrio, Cagayan de Oro City to showcase the local products of 41 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the region.
The trade fair is one of the core events of Cagayan de Oro City’s Higalaay Festival.
The theme this year is “Northern Mindanao’s Creativity, Innovations, and Traditions.”
The regional trade fair is organized under the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)’s One
Town One Product (OTOP) Program.
OTOP is a priority stimulus program that enables MSMEs, localities, and communities to
determine, develop, support and promote the products and services that are unique to their
respective localities.
Through this program, DTI facilitates the participation of MSMEs in national and international trade fairs to provide them with opportunity to expand their market.
The regional trade fair will serve as a platform for MSMEs to exhibit their products from featured
sectors including processed food, fresh fruits and vegetables, wearables and homestyle, crafts, coffee, cacao, coconut, furniture, raw materials and the creatives industries.
It will also enable participating MSMEs to connect with potential buyers and explore new business opportunities.
Aside from the product showcase, the trade fair will also feature business matching sessions and side events such as Kapihan sa Kahimunan, Creative Industry Showcases, and Techno Day for MSMEs.
Kahimunan Regional Trade Fair is open to the public and will run until August 31, 2025.
