TANGUB CITY, Misamis Occidental – The City of Tangub will not only be known for its glittering lights during Christmas but also for its well planned and aesthetically designed rotunda in the coming months.
Just recently City Mayor Ben Canama and his team inspected the final site of the Rotunda along Tan Avenue and Panguil Bay Bridge Access Road.
Based on research conducted by the MDNN team, the said rotunda will be named Isidro D. Tan Rotunda. It is strategically located to greet motorists coming from the Panguil Bay Bridge which is almost complete as far as construction.
Historically, Isidro D. Tan is a barangay of Tangub City. It was named after the late brother of former City Mayor Alfonso D. Tan. Formerly, Barangay Isidro Tan was barangay Dimalooc. It was officially renamed as barangay Isidro Tan by virtue of Republic Act 3590 sometime in 1983.
