FALCON 9 BLASTS OFF WITH AGILA SATELLITE, BRIDGING PHILIPPINES’ DIGITAL DIVIDE

December 29, 2024 – CAPE CANAVERAL, Florida,
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket successfully launched the AGILA satellite, the Philippines’ first dedicated internet satellite, into geosynchronous transfer orbit today at 12:00 a.m. ET. Operated by Orbits Satellite Corporation, led by President Atty. Augusto Baculio, AGILA will provide broadband access to approximately two million people across 5,000 rural communities.
