DISTRICT 3870 — District Governor Marlowe Selecios is urging all Rotary Clubs in District 3870 to complete their strategic planning sessions with 30 days remaining before the new Rotary year begins.

In his message to members, DG Selecios said planning should go beyond scheduling events. Clubs must assess strengths, address weaknesses, identify opportunities, and align goals with both the district and Rotary International’s vision.

“Planning isn’t just about setting dates. It’s about maximizing our strengths, tackling our weaknesses, spotting opportunities, and ensuring our goals beat in rhythm with the District’s and RI’s vision,” he said.

DG Selecios lauded clubs that have already mapped out their programs and shared photos from their planning sessions. He encouraged clubs still finalizing plans to act now before the leadership transition.
“Failing to plan is planning to fail. Let’s finish strong and start even stronger,” he added.

As clubs prepare for the annual changeover, District 3870 is pushing members to anchor projects on Rotary International’s theme of “Unite for Good” and commitment to “Create Lasting Impact.”
