The local government, led by Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy, formally turned over two covered courts located at Taglimao Elementary School and Taglimao National High School on Wednesday, April 1 of this year.
The covered court at Taglimao Elementary School costs ₱4,110,000, while the one at Taglimao National High School costs ₱4,170,000.
Both projects are already complete with drainage and electrical works, and are fully equipped with lighting and other facilities.

Mayor Klarex personally and sincerely handed over the projects and said, “I will not withhold my help and the projects I can provide to this barangay, especially if they bring great benefits to the students and residents.”
School principals Rowel Caiña of Taglimao Elementary School and Marilou Lagac of Taglimao National High School also expressed their gratitude for the covered courts, which can be used by both students and the community when needed.
Caiña added that their covered court will soon be used for school sports activities such as volleyball, basketball, badminton, and other community events.
Meanwhile, Mayor Klarex also revealed plans to install a stage in the covered court at Taglimao Elementary School to provide a proper facility for their activities.
