FORTY women deprived of liberty from Districts 1 and 2 voted at the Cagayan de Oro City Jail special polling place during the 2025 national and local elections with voting conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The activity, held in coordination with Comelec and BJMP, was closely monitored by the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) to ensure transparency and protect the rights of PDL voters.
The process ran smoothly with full support from CDOCJ-FD personnel, led by jail warden Senior Insp. Mary Rose Pacana.
This marks a continued effort to empower PDL through civic participation as part of their reformation and reintegration into society.
