LEGAZPI CITY – The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO5) reported on Friday the arrest of four suspected drug personalities and the seizure of over PHP1.6 million worth of illegal drugs in simultaneous anti-drug operations the previous night.
Lt. Col. Malu Calubaquib, PRO5 spokesperson, said 239.6 grams of shabu and 0.5 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of PHP1.6 million, were recovered in separate operations in Camarines Sur, Masbate and Sorsogon.
A certain Lar, 46, was arrested in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Iriga City. He yielded PHP1.53 million worth of shabu.
In Masbate, a certain Franz was nabbed after selling 14.6 grams of shabu amounting to PHP99,280 to an undercover agent.
In Gubat, Sorsogon, couple “Ed” and “Gina” were arrested after selling marijuana to a poseur buyer. (PNA)
