Many teachers face financial hardships—low wages, mounting debts, and lack of savings—that can cause stress, distraction, and job dissatisfaction. Such financial strains often lead educators to take on additional jobs or work extra hours, reducing their energy and enthusiasm for teaching.
Innovative solutions are emerging to address this root cause. Schools are now integrating financial literacy into their training programs, helping teachers learn how to budget wisely, save effectively, and invest responsibly. Providing access to financial counseling can also help teachers build resilience against financial setbacks.
