TO celebrate the upcoming feast of Barangay Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City Hall under Mayor ‘Klarex’ Uy’s leadership holds the weekly ‘People’s Day’ community outreach program in the area on Monday, May 11.
The one-stop-shop program offered a wide range of services, including free medications, wheelchairs, and bowls of arroz caldo (congee).
City Hall department personnel were also on hand to answer inquiries regarding scholarships, job applications, late birth registration and business permit renewals.
Additionally, children received free lollipops, while families were each given five-kilo sacks of rice personally donated by the mayor’s family.
The ‘People’s Day’ program is held every second through fourth Monday of the month in designated barangays in the city and immediately follows the barangay-level flag-raising ceremony.
