Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, has been named Best Airline at the 2025 Routes Asia Awards, marking its second consecutive win.
The award recognizes airlines for their contributions to route development and tourism growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Cebu Pacific’s success highlights its network expansion, strategic partnerships, and commitment to accessible air travel.
In 2024, the airline launched 28 new routes, including 19 domestic and 9 international, with key destinations like Chiang Mai, Kaohsiung, and Sapporo. It also strengthened its presence by establishing hubs in Davao and Iloilo.
Further cementing its growth, Cebu Pacific placed a historic order for 152 Airbus aircraft, the largest in Philippine aviation history, as part of its fleet modernization strategy. The airline also launched its “Fly to Happy, Fly to the Philippines!” campaign to promote tourism.
Currently, Cebu Pacific operates 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
