THE 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division installed new officers to lead the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, OG7 and the 4th Division Training School (4DTS) on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
In a Joint Change of Command and Change of Chief of Office Ceremony held at 4ID Headquarters, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City, Lieutenant Colonel Manuel B. Estanilla, formally assumed as the new G7, succeeding Col. Reynald Romel A. Goce who was designated as the new Executive Officer of the 4ID’s 401st Infantry Brigade based in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
Meanwhile, Lt. Col. Jerold H. Jale, following his stint as the former Commanding Officer of the 30th Infantry Battalion, was installed as the new Commandant of the 4DTS based in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, replacing Lt. Col. Estanilla.
Major General Jose Maria R. Cuerpo II, Commander of 4ID presented Command Plaques to the outgoing officers for their invaluable services rendered which greatly contributed to the overall accomplishment of the Command’s mission.
Likewise, he expressed confidence to the abilities of the new leaders to continuously implement the thrust and mission of the Philippine Army.
“To all newly designated officers, I am optimistic that you brought with you the invaluable lessons learned, skills acquired, and competencies developed from your previous assignments as you take on these new responsibilities. I look forward that you will be making a huge impact on the overall mission accomplishment of 4ID, given your caliber of leadership and level of expertise along with your excellent backgrounds in military and civilian schooling,” he said.
The G7 plays a crucial role as a general staff of the 4ID Commander that oversees CMO operations of the division’s line units aiming to foster rapport between the military and civilian populace, aid development projects and promote stability among communities in line with the command’s thrust.
On the other hand, the 4DTS facilitates trainings among soldiers aiming to hone their soldiery skills that will greatly contribute to the performance of their mandate.
