Mambajao, Camiguin โ The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Region 10 officially awarded today the Special Notice of Compliance (SNoC) to the Local Government Unit of Mambajao for the implementation of its approved Land Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).
This significant milestone reflects LGU Mambajaoโs full alignment with the national governmentโs Public Transport Modernization Program, aimed at delivering a safe, efficient, and commuter-friendly transport system to the local community.
Present during this momentous occasion was LTFRB Region 10 Regional Director Abosamen H. Matuan, M. Sc., who reiterated the agencyโs commitment to guiding LGUs in the successful rollout of their LPTRPs. Also in attendance was Ms. Marianne C. Ulep, Region 10 Focal Person for the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP), who has been instrumental in providing technical assistance throughout the process.
Representing the host LGU were key local officials, led by Mayor Yรฑigo Jesus D. Romualdo, Vice Mayor Robert Jones H. Closas, all Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Members, and all Department Heads of LGU Mambajaoโdemonstrating strong political will and institutional support behind the transport modernization initiative.
The awarding of the SNoC is a testament to the continued cooperation between national and local government in advancing transport reforms, in line with the directive of President Ferdinand โBongbongโ R. Marcos Jr., DOTr Secretary Vivencio “Vince” B. Dizon, and LTFRB Chairman Atty. Teofilo E. Guadiz III, CESO V.
