MISAMIS ORIENTAL (PIA)—The Misamis Oriental Provincial Government formally launched the ‘PAGLAUM’ 24/7 Hotline’ as Governor Peter Unabia’s administration strengthened its commitment to serving all Misamisnons.
“The PAGLAUM 24/7 hotline is an offshoot of the ‘PAGLAUM’ development agenda’s participatory governance. This will be made accessible to Misamisnons from all walks of life. This is an emergency hotline that will handle our people’s complaints and emergency concerns,” Provincial Administrator John Venice Lagada said.
He explained that the hotline is based on three state laws namely Article 2 Sec. 27 of the Philippine Constitution, Republic Act No. 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007, and Administrative Order No. 241 of 2008.
Meanwhile, Philippine National Police (PNP) Misamis Oriental Provincial Director PCol. Gonzalo Villamor, Jr expressed his support and commitment to the provincial government’s initiatives, which will be a great help to their agency’s battle cry of protecting and serving.
“Rest assured that the Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office will closely work with the PAGLAUM Hotline Team and complete any assigned task to fully realize the plans and programs of this significant undertaking,” Villamor said.
Misamisnons can now call the hotline and have their concerns and complaints heard and addressed by the responsible provincial office.
