The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Palawan Provincial Office and the Palawan Provincial Government jointly conducted the Palawan Souvenir Trade Fair in line with the 2022 Baragatan sa Palawan Festival which took place at the Convention Center, Provincial Capitol Compound, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan from June 10 to 30, 2022.
Among the 14 exhibitors during the trade fair was DTI Palawan’s Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP), which proudly showcased the #GawangLokal products of seven CARP entrepreneurs or “CARPreneurs” across the agrarian reform communities in Palawan.
Among the showcased CARP products were dehydrated mango, mango juice, mango jam, mango wine, vinegar, ginger powder, turmeric powder, pancit canton noodles, puto seko, rice brew and processed meat products such as embutido, longganisa and tocino which generated a total sales of over Php48K.
This marketing event has been another opportunity for the CARPreneurs in promoting and selling their products to help the hardworking agrarian reform beneficiary organizations or CARPreneurs as they gradually bounce back from the adverse effect of the COVID-19 pandemic to MSMEs.
