In line with its commitment to expanding international market opportunities for Northern Mindanao, the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. (Oro Chamber) welcomed representatives from TAITRA Philippines (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) to the Oro Chamber Boardroom on Monday, July 20, 2026, for a productive dialogue with its Board of Trustees.

The meeting explored avenues for strengthening trade relations between Cagayan de Oro and Taiwan, creating new business partnerships, and providing local enterprises with greater access to Taiwan’s dynamic market and global business networks.

The TAITRA delegation, led by Ms. Claire Yang, presented various international trade and business matching opportunities, including upcoming trade fairs and industry exhibitions in Taiwan scheduled for the last quarter of 2026. These initiatives offer Northern Mindanao businesses valuable platforms to connect with potential partners, expand their markets, and explore investment opportunities.

Oro Chamber continues to champion strategic international linkages that enhance the region’s competitiveness, attract investments, and create lasting opportunities for businesses in Northern Mindanao.

The Chamber extends its appreciation to TAITRA Philippines for the insightful presentation and looks forward to building a strong and enduring partnership that will further strengthen economic and trade relations between Taiwan and the Philippines.
