OVER 1,000 jobseekers joined a job fair hosted jointly by Cagayan de Oro City Hall’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Department of Migrant Workers regional office (DMW-10) at the City Hall quadrangle on Tuesday, May 19.
About 21 local companies and 17 overseas employment agencies also participated in the ‘Bayanihan Para sa Balikbayang Manggagawa: National Reintegration Network (NRN) Fair’.
The Bayanihan program adopted an inter-agency, multisectoral and whole-of-government approach to provide employment and livelihood support for OFWs, their families, returning OFWs, and other jobseekers.
