GWM Unveils Haval H9 in CDO, Marking Milestone for Otto-Motto Mobility Inc.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY—GWM Philippines, in partnership with Otto-Motto Mobility Inc., officially launched the GWM Haval H9 during a grand event held at Limketkai Mall on February 15, 2026.

The launch gathered bank partners, media representatives, content creators, VIP clients, and car enthusiasts, marking a significant step in GWM’s expansion in Northern Mindanao and reinforcing its growing presence in the local automotive market.

Mr. Dax Avenido, Brand Head and Marketing Director of GWM Philippines, led the brand introduction and formally presented the Haval H9 as GWM’s latest entry into the large SUV market.

Avenido shared that GWM Philippines recorded a 33 percent year-on-year growth, reflecting rising customer confidence and strong brand performance. He noted that the Haval H9 is the first Chinese-brand vehicle to enter the premium PPV segment in the Philippine market, directly competing with established Japanese brands.

He highlighted that the Haval H9 is designed for families, travelers, and professionals seeking comfort, safety, and versatility. Guests were encouraged to explore the vehicle’s features and participate in test drives at the dealership.

The product presentation was delivered by Mr. Vincent Marquez, Product and Marketing Director of GWM Philippines, who introduced the key features of the Haval H9, focusing on its strong design, comfortable interior, and smooth driving performance.

Marquez emphasized the vehicle’s ability to handle various road conditions, making it suitable for both city use and outdoor travel. He also highlighted the brand’s long-term warranty program, assuring customers of quality and reliability.

One of the highlights of the event was the official price reveal. The GWM Haval H9 was introduced at ₱2,048,000, offering a competitive option in the premium SUV market. Special introductory offers were also announced for early buyers.

The successful launch marked a major milestone for Otto-Motto Mobility Inc. as it continues to expand GWM’s footprint in Northern Mindanao. The event reinforced the company’s commitment to bringing high-quality vehicles and improved mobility solutions to local customers.
