COTABATO City – Newly appointed Bangsamoro Interim Chief Minister Abdulraof Macacua has pledged to ensure the continuity of government services in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Macacua, who assumed office at the Bangsamoro Government Center on Thursday morning, made the commitment in front of thousands of supporters and members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
Speaking to reporters, Macacua said he is committed to maintaining close coordination with the MILF to ensure peace, stability, and moral governance in BARMM.

He added that his marching orders from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. are to ensure a smooth transition until the first parliamentary election in October 2025.
Macacua, named interim chief minister on March 3, took his oath before the President in Malacañang on March 12. He also assured cabinet members that they would continue serving the Bangsamoro people. (PNA)
