THE Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of barangay Bulua in Cagayan de Oro City under chairman Jannine Aguillon is the organizer of the ongoing Mutya ng Bulua.
The pageant is part of the weeklong fiesta activities celebrating the Immaculate Conception of Mary, the mother of Jesus, hailed as God the Son in both Roman Catholic and Iglesia Filipiniana Independiente churches.
The candidates are Mechel Sabuero, Althea Bansiloy, Francine Pacaldo, Jhireh Abellana, Rich Manliguez, Princess Mae Nanual, Jathela Carpentero, Jennyna Garello, Shandy Lou Zaragosa, Alyssa Maaliao, Keziah Vismanos and Jellian Villanueva.
They will be presented to Buluanons this November 30 and their preliminaries and coronation will be held on December 5.
Considering the magnitude of the event, Aguillon has really proven to her constituents her hardworking character as the SK chairman of Bulua.
