North-Min Auto Dealership Inc. (NMADI), the official Isuzu dealer for the cities of Cagayan de Oro, Butuan, Dipolog and Pagadian in Mindanao, launched the New Isuzu D-Max Limited simultaneously during The Great Isuzu Fridays (T.G.I.F.) Holideals on Friday, October 27, 2023 at its four locations.
“The new Isuzu D-MAX Limited makes the already appealing D-MAX pick-up even more attractive to those looking for added character on their vehicle. Designed with uniqueness and individuality in mind, this vehicle is fit for those with a deeper passion in life, especially the adventurous type,” said IPC president Tetsuya Fujita.
The D-MAX nameplate has been in the country since 2003 and has proven to be a favorite among Filipino families in the past two decades due to its durability, reliability and fuel efficiency.
“Despite all the recent enhancements in design and performance features, the D-MAX Limited is competitively priced at P1.58 million. It is now available at all NMADI branches but since Isuzu Philippines Inc. (IPC) is only bringing in 200 units for the entire Philippines, it’s expected to be sold out within the next two months as the most,” said NMADI General Manager Nyle B. Balasabas.
A highlight of the TGIF Holideals launch event was the turnover of the first Isuzu D-MAX Limited unit at NMADI Cagayan de Oro to Mr. James T. Espinosa, a businessman from Baroy, Lanao del Norte.
Asked why he chose the D-MAX Limited, Mr. Espinosa said he has been the proud owner of an Isuzu Crosswind since 2013 and it has never given him any trouble. However, since his children wanted the family to have an Isuzu with an automatic transmission for their next vehicle, they chose the D-MAX Limited because of Isuzu’s proven reliability.

The Isuzu New D-MAX Limited
Positioned strategically to compete with other accessorized pickups in the market, the New Isuzu D-MAX Limited is exclusively available on the 3.0L 4×2 LS-A AT variant powered by the turbocharged 3-liter 4JJ3-TCX Blue Power engine, the New D-MAX Limited generates an impressive 190 PS of maximum power and 450 Nm of maximum torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. IPC noted how its exterior and interior accessories designed by Isuzu Accessories and Service Parts, Thailand (IAST), ensure top-notch quality and durability.
A newly designed Blackout Grille with a sassy red Isuzu logo paired with a red front bumper guard which contrasts beautifully with its sleek Onyx Black paint.
Viewed from the sides, it boasts a stylish gray streak body graphic with a red limited logo that runs all the way to the tailgate, accented by newly designed step boards with a nonslip surface for easy ingress and egress for its driver and passengers. Similarly, handlebars on each of the truck pillars help occupants in getting in and out of the vehicle.
From the rear, a new tailgate design and body graphics further accentuate the exclusivity of the Isuzu D-Max Limited variant. It also gets a bedliner for better utility.
The Isuzu D-Max Limited rides on 17-inch Satin Black finish alloy wheels shod with 265/70 R17 All-Terrain tires with double wishbone coil springs with high-mounted upper control arm and stabilizers up front, and a pair of long-span semi-elliptical soft-ride leaf springs at the rear. These are complemented by a Monotube Nitrogen Charged Performance Shock Absorber with rigid rear shackles, resulting in a ground clearance of 260mm. This combination ensures stability and control, even on challenging roads.
Inside, the Isuzu D-Max Limited also gets variant-specific floor mats, comfortable fabric bucket seats (with anti-vibration elastic comfort foam), a newly designed premium DMAX Limited Carpet made from high-quality materials ensures a premium appearance and interior protection. and a multi-functional urethane steering wheel.
Tech-wise, the Isuzu D-Max Limited packs a 4.2-inch instrument cluster, a decent 10.1-inch infotainment system, a navigation system, and a clinometer.
Rear occupants also get their own air conditioning vents with a power outlet to charge devices.
