OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occiderntal (PIA)–The Provincial Government of Misamis Occidental joined the nation in celebrating the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) for the whole month of September this year.
During the kick off of 122nd Philippine Service Anniversary, Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal Sr. said working in the government is a great opportunity give your best services to the people.
“Isip public servant gikinahanglan nga andam kanunay muhatag sa ilang matinud-anon nga serbisyo sa wala’y pagpili sa sitwasyon alang sa pagtabang sa katawhan nga mahatagan sa kalambuan ug pag-asenso sa ilang pamuyo.”
(As a public servant, it is necessary that you are always ready to give your honest service without choosing the situation to help the people to be given the development and advancement of their lives)
Oaminal said the Civil Service Anniversary’s theme, ”Transforming the public servant towards resiliency” is very timely as it coincides the vision of Asenso Misamis Occidental that the Misamisnon will live peacefully, prosperously and happily.
“Gumikan nga kung wala’y Asenso ang atong kinabuhi ug ang atong panarbaho unsaon nato pagkahimo nga resilient. Naglantaw ko sa inyong welfare kay sa akong giingon partner kamo niining maong vision. Living and achieving our vision of Asenso Misamis Occidental should start in us here in the Capitol.”
(Given that if our life and work will not improve, how can we be resilient. I am looking at your welfare because as I said you are partners in this vision)
As Oaminal’s partner in the province of Misamis Occidental, the governor gave a bonus worth P2,000 to employees in attendance.
On the other hand, the working governor issued a special order to the provincial treasurer, accountant and budget officer to release P4,000 to all job order, P5,000 to contract of service and regular employees for the whole month of September for their bonus or anniversary bonus in celebrating the civil service month.
Oaminal also encouraged government workers to support the Asenso administration and urged them to be diligent in their work and service in the province.
Weekly activities and special treats will be available for government workers in the province for the whole month of September in celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA). (SMRN/PIA-10/Misamis Occidental)
