Six new classrooms and additional facilities were turned over to the Filipino-Chinese Friendship Elementary School in Calaanan, Canitoan in a simple ceremony attended by Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy, education officials and leaders of the Federation of Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FCCCI) on Friday afternoon (Feb. 7).
Aside from six classrooms the school also acquired a covered court, one gate and entrance walls.
Mayor Klarex cut the ceremonial ribbon along with President Dr. Cecilio Pedro and Department of Education (DepEd) West II District Supervisor Dr. Shirley A. Merida who represented Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Angelo E. Gazo.
