Misamis Oriental, September 15, 2025– The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 10 (PDEA RO-10), in collaboration with multiple law enforcement units, successfully implemented a search warrant in Purok 1, Candiis, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental today. The operation led to the seizure of illegal drugs and the arrest of an incumbent kagawad.
The operation was spearheaded by the PDEA RO-10 Misamis Oriental Provincial Office and was supported by joint efforts from the Camiguin Provincial Office, Bukidnon Provincial Office, Misamis Oriental Airport, and Seaport Interdiction Unit.
Authorities confiscated approximately 5 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of Php 34,000.00.
PDEA Regional Director Alex M. Tablate identified the arrested individual as alias “Coy Ubs”, 49 years old, male, married, Municipal Councilor, and resident of Purok 1, Candiis, Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental
The suspect will be facing charges for violation of Section 11 Article II of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
