CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)–Workers of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 10 start to profile households living inside the transitory shelters in Barangay Dulay, Marawi City.
The profiling activity aims to establish the needs and assess the current situation of the internally displaced children, and pregnant and lactating mothers in the shelter.
The Bangsamoro Umpungan sa Nutrisyon (BangUn) Project team visits every house inside the shelter in coordination with the barangay and Marawi’s health officials.
DSWD Undersecretary Eduardo Punay urged Field Office 10 to conduct a house-to-house visit in the area.
While the province of Lanao del Sur is located in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao, DSWD Field Office 10 manages the BangUn Project implementation in this province. (DSWD-10)
