MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur (PIA)–Five schools under the City Schools Division of Marawi have received more aid from the World Vision Philippines as they were provided with digital devices Tuesday, June 14.
The child-focused international non-government organization turned over sets of equipment which included printers, 55-inches television, and laptops to Abdulazis, Cadayonan, Sikap, H. Hassan Memorial, and Tuca Boganga Elementary Schools.
As such, recipients conveyed their heartfelt gratitude as they looked forward to how their delivery of education can become better through utilizing the resources given to them.
“Kami ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa World Vision sa ibinigay nila sa amin na digital devices for our learners. Inshallah, these digital devices will be used sa aming paaralan para mapakinabangan ng aming mga mag-aaral. Maraming salamat,” said Sikap Elementary School Principal Norhata Binatara-Bangcola.

H. Hassan Memorial Elementary School Focal Person Alminah Manta further extended gratefulness, citing that the equipment will be advantageous in teaching lessons incomprehensible without using technology.
“Gusto naming magpasalamat sa World Vision kasi nakasama kami sa limang recipients. Hindi sila nagsawang tumulong sa amin. Ito ay makakatulong sa learners namin. May mga topic kasi na mahirap intindihin kung ang gamit mo lang is ang salita mo. Kailangan kasi minsan ng may video,” she said.
[We want to thank World Vision as we are one of the five recipients. They did not tire of helping us. These will all be beneficial to our learners. Some topics are hard to understand if you just use words. There has to be video sometimes.]
Manta said the devices can also help produce their big books which can be reused in the succeeding school years.
Tuca Boganga Elementary School Focal Person Nashiba Dirampa-Ducat, likewise expressed her happiness seeing the vast help delivered by the organization in the past times.
“Maraming salamat sa World Vision kasi malaking tulong iyan sa amin, lalo na sa learners namin. Sobrang nakatulong talaga ang World Vision,” she said.

As part of the initiative of emphasizing child protection mechanisms, activities, and interventions for schools to implement measures to improve quality education services, the digital devices will accordingly complete the digital mobile laboratory which is designed to help schools and improve the literacy of kindergarten and elementary school children.
