MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL (PIA)–The Province of Misamis Occidental led by Gov. Henry S. Oaminal presented the multi-million worth of programs and projects for the development of tourism in the province.
An estimated P160 million budget for the development of tourist spots in Misamis Occidental.
During her visit in Misamis Occidental, Department of Tourism (DOT)-10 Regional Director Marie Elaine Unchuan is very happy and excited for the the good news that the Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park (MOAP) will be made “The Maldives of Mindanao.”
Oaminal also urged the mayors of the province to identify their potential tourism spots.
“At the end of this year, nahuman na (kasamtangang proyekt0), aron sunod tuig sugod na kita pagpaila sa Misamis Occidental,” Oaminal said.
(At the end of this year, we’ll complete the existing projects so that next year we will start introducing Misamis Occidental)
