DISCOVERY World – which is investing heavily in Davao City by developing an 11-hectare P7-billion modern community project with its flagship Elize Point – launched the Lunar New Year celebration last January 18 with a talk by feng shui expert Melvin Sua attended by no less than former President Rodrigo Duterte himself and his long time aide Sen. Christopher Lawrence Go.
The event, which was held at West Empire Chinese Restaurant and Seafood Garden in Lanang, was also an avenue for Discovery World to tout its township with talks by CEO/president John Tiu, Discovery Hospitality senior vice president Cathy Nepomuceno and vice president/investor relations officer Mary Jean Codiñera.
Sua’s keen personal interest in metaphysics and healing arts led him to pursue the study of feng shui. He uses all the feng shui systems to provide property prospecting, compatibility analysis, date selection, among others.
Sua’s geomancy indeed bodes well for the ambitious vision of Discovery World which is being flaunted as the first luxury real estate project of its kind, pushing the region’s potential by integrating residential lots and mixed use spaces..
Its flagship project Elize Point which is located in Matina, is perched atop and a hill and is the peak of lush green living and the height of life well lived. Embracing its residents with a plethora of flora, Elize Point is a pocket of nature at the heart of the city.
