CAMP EVANGELISTA, Cagayan de Oro City – With the aim to strengthen its camp security and troop readiness in response to any threats, the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division conducted its 2nd Quarter Camp Defense Drill at 4ID Headquarters this city on Friday, June 27, 2025.
Spearheaded by the 4th Installation Management Battalion, the drill simulated real-time scenarios, allowing soldiers to test perimeter defense protocols and rapid response procedures.
Officers and Enlisted Personnel from Organic, Post, and Tenant units of 4ID responded swiftly at the sound of the siren alarm, showcasing their vigilance, teamwork, and tactical proficiency. Their immediate action played a crucial role in intensifying camp’s security during crisis.
Major General Michele B. Anayron Jr., Commander of 4ID said the Camp Defense Drill reflects the Division’s commitment to staying alert, disciplined, and prepared at all times as the 4ID cannot afford complacency, even within its own camps. He added that this exercise is more than just a drill, it is a test of the troops’ resolve, coordination, and operational capability.
