The 2nd Philippines-European Union Partnership and Cooperation Agreement Joint Committee Meeting (2nd PH-EU JCM) was held on 26 April 2022 in Manila under the joint chairmanship of Department of Foreign Affairs Acting Undersecretary Ma. Theresa Lazaro and European External Affairs Service Managing Director Gunnar Wiegand. Representing the Department of Trade and Industry, Bureau of International Trade Relations Director Angelo Salvador Benedictos participated in this meeting and led the Philippine side in the discussion on the Sub-Committee of Trade, Investment, and Economic Cooperation covering key topics on significant trade interests, such as the EU-GSP+ and PH-EU FTA.
